Collection: 108" Wide Backing Fabric

108” fabric, is exactly that 108” wide, which is 3 yards in length. The most common use for 108” fabric is to back a quilt. This means you will not have any seams on the back of the quilt. Most Longarm quilters require quilt backs to be 4-8 inches larger than the quilt top. So if one side of your quilt top measures 100” or less, you need to purchase enough yardage to accommodate your other measurement, remember to include an extra 4-8 inches. This fabric can also be used for the front of the quilt, curtains, and clothing construction.
